Slant Board
The Slant Board is a birch plywood calf stretcher, or incline board, that helps from the sole to the head. Standing on it stretches the muscles on the back of the body: tension starts to ease in the feet and gradually moves up to the neck. 15 minutes a day is enough.
Mobility helps you enjoy life more, and for longer
Well-toned, well-nourished muscles support strong bones, balance and body awareness. Tense, shortened muscles overload the tendons and can hinder the metabolism between muscles and bones. The less energy there is, the more tension builds up in the muscles. Daily stretching helps break that cycle.
Why the Slant Board?
- stretches the calves, hamstrings, hips and toes
- the grid surface massages the soles of the feet
- reduces tension in the body – including the upper back and neck
- four different angles – start low and move up step by step
- also a training tool: squats, lunges, calf raises, push-ups, plank, step-ups
- a beautiful object – keep it in sight and it is easier to take care of your body
